A Great Chess Engine

Stronger than Fritz 18, and what is noticeable is that it also plays a better positional game. The program also came with a separate DVD called Fritz Powerbook, which is two giant databases of historic chess games.

Excellent clock

The clock has all the preset modes one could want along with several custom settings. The lever mechanism feels precise and firm. The display is large and shows seconds all the time. Although the body is made of plastic, it does not feel flimsy or cheap. Very good value and excellent customer service as well.
